Calculation detail & limitations

This is a compatibility port of the supplied teaching software, not a validated submarine design system. Legacy calculation behaviour is retained and flagged where possible. Costs are historical course estimates, not current procurement prices.

Core numerical outputs were checked against the recovered C# calculation classes for 14 test designs. End-to-end comparison with the original Windows interface remains outstanding.
